Who we are

This website is operated by Bug Function LLC (“Homi”, “we”, “us”). Our postal address is 2234 North Federal Hwy #7773, Boca Raton, FL 33431, US.

The short version

We collect personal information in exactly two places on this site: the contact form and the newsletter signup. We do not run advertising, we do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not track you across other websites.

What we collect, and when

When you submit the contact form. We ask for your name and email address, which are required, and optionally your company or property name, the number of properties you operate, and a message. We receive whatever you choose to put in those fields. We use it for one purpose: to reply to you and to talk with you about whether Homi fits your business.

When you subscribe to our newsletter. We collect your email address. We use double opt-in, which means we send you a confirmation email and add you to the list only after you click the link in it. Every newsletter we send includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect without you having to contact us.

When you simply read the site. Our website does not set any cookies of its own, and we do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Our hosting provider processes standard technical information — such as your IP address and browser type — in the course of delivering the pages to you and keeping the service secure.

Who else handles your information

We use three third-party services. Each of them is a company we have chosen and instructed; each publishes its own privacy policy.

• Formspree delivers our contact form submissions to us. When you submit the form, your submission goes to Formspree, which stores it and forwards it to our inbox. Formspree may also process technical information such as your IP address in order to block spam. Formspree Privacy Policy.
• beehiiv runs our newsletter. The signup box in our page footer is served by beehiiv from their own domain, so beehiiv receives your email address directly and stores our subscriber list. Because that box is a beehiiv-hosted embed, beehiiv may set its own cookies or similar storage when you interact with it. beehiiv Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone else except where we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form submissions for as long as we are in contact with you about Homi, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our business records. We keep your newsletter subscription until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any issue. To make any of these requests, use the contact form on this site and tell us what you would like us to do. We will respond as promptly as we reasonably can.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. We will honour those rights where they apply to you.

Children

This site is intended for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will say so on this page rather than quietly editing it.
